\nThe Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) and the Kapor Center are conducting a survey of PreK-12 computer science (CS) teachers in the United States. The CS education landscape continues to evolve, and we want to hear vital insights directly from teachers about your experiences and challenges and to understand what resources would be most useful to you. Having detailed and current information allows policymakers, curriculum & PD providers, State Departments of Education, membership associations, and other organizations to better understand and meet the needs of teachers. If you teach PreK-12 computer science, we need your voice! We invite you to participate in this national survey, the results of which will be used to make specific recommendations to improve support for PreK-12 CS teachers.

\n*Computer science IS NOT learning basic computer literacy skills or using technology for learning. Rather, it is “the study of computers and algorithmic processes, including their principles, their hardware and software designs, their implementation, and their impact on society” (Tucker et al., 2006). \n\n
